It's Time to Talk Day!

By Staffline

Time to Talk Day is the nation's biggest mental health conversation! It represents a day that friends, families, communities and workplaces come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Time to Talk Day is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness in England, in partnership with Co-op. The campaign runs UK wide, with SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and See Me in Scotland, Inspire and Change Your Mind in Northern Ireland and Time to Change Wales.

The day is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. We all have mental health, by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.

At Staffline, we take mental health and employee wellbeing very seriously. Alongside our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and Wellness Agenda, we have nine Health and Wellness Ambassadors situated across the UK to help support our colleagues should they have any mental health concerns. Each have their own individual stories and experiences to share and are fully-trained Mental Health First Aiders.

With a heavy focus on maximising mental health support for our employees in 2022, we're looking to add to our team of Health and Wellness Ambassadors and ensure that our Wellness Agenda is always evolving.

On such an important day, we'd like to reiterate that it's ok to talk and by opening up a conversation about mental health, you most certainly will help someone or feel better about your own problems.

Interested in joining Staffline and our Health and Wellness Ambassadors? We have opportunities across the UK, from Recruitment positions to Payroll and Administrative roles. Visit our Careers page for more information.
